Through excellent international partnerships, NCCS is offering a Bachelor of Divinity (M.Div equivalent) and a Master of Theology degree programs. The areas of study include ‘Applied Theology’, ‘Bible’ and ‘Contextual Missiology.' We also offer the NCCS pre-Master's Certificate in preparation for the Master of Theology degree, for those with little or no theological education.

Bachelor of Divinity (BD)
Our Bachelor of Divinity degree is designed for candidates for pastoral ministry, those in, entering, or seeking to enter full or part time Christian leadership or Christian work. It is highly appropriate for tour guides or teachers of Religious Studies in schools. It includes courses in Biblical studies; Old and New Testament, systematic theology, ethics, Church history, missiology, preaching and pastoral studies.

Our program on Leadership Development runs parallel and is integrated with the BD program.

The duration of the degree is three years and four months taught over two semesters consisting of 16 weeks, beginning in September and finishing in May each year. There is a final semester from September to December. The program also includes an intensive course of two weeks, taught in the summer months.

The BD can be studied full or part time.

Master of Theology (MTh)
Our Master of Theology program is aimed at Christians who hold a degree in theology or a related subject and who are seeking to advance their studies in a specialized field. The degree is also open to those who hold degrees in other disciplines and who have subsequently completed the NCCS Pre-Masters Certificate.

The degree content includes both standard classes and research based study. Students must complete six 5000-word papers and a 20,000-word dissertation in their chosen subject.

There are three specializations that the student may choose from:

• Biblical Studies
• Contextual Missiology
• Applied Theology

The degree program takes from two to three years to complete.

Degrees offered at NCCS are English-medium degrees which involve intensive reading and writing in English. Classes are taught in English and Arabic. Students are required to have a sufficient level of English to begin a course of study.

Pre-Masters Certificate
The pre-masters Certificate is designed for those holding degrees in non-theological disciplines who anticipate further study in theology at the master’s level. The PMC is an intensive year of Biblical, theological, and missiological studies before entry to an MTh Degree program.

Diploma in Divinity
The NCCS Diploma in Divinity DipD. is aimed at those who want to gain the knowledge of God but who do not require a Degree Certificate. DipD students attend the BD classes but are graded under a different scheme. English is not a requirement for this program.

Certificate in Leadership Development CLd.
The Leadership Development courses are integrated with the BD and MTh degree programs and run over the duration of these degrees. This is a non-credit but highly valuable program aimed at those in Christian leadership. The CLd. can be studied as a separate program from the degree programs.
